Smells of fruit and light caramel. Taste is semi-sweet with burnt coffe and some chocolate flavors. There is a strange aftertaste I cannot quite put my finger on (not unpleasant, just hard to describe). The alcohol comes through nicely. A very good beer, and one that I will drink again. janir (215), Oulu, Finland

Cork shot up and hit my kitchen ceiling as soon as I got the metal wire seal off. Feisty. Gigantic monterous rocky head. Dark brown clear color. Very effervecent. Aroma of sweet dark fruits, malt, oak, and tartness. Taste is very well balanced with dark sweet cherries, dark malts, yeasty and a little bready. Maybe a little brown sugar and molassas in there too. Complex stuff. This is a great beer! pompelmoes (69), Belgium
