Pours a very light cola color, off white head that is thin but leaves decent lacing. Lazy carbonation activity. The aroma is very sweet, almost a chocolate with a yeasty dough hint. Also a hint of caramel and cinnamon. The taste is very interesting caramel and malty blend. Hints of spice in the background. The malty balance helps smooth the high alcohol. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky; overall a wonderful tasting and incredibly balanced darker belgian strong ale. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma is earthy banana, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted nuts. Flavor is deliciously similar, with a bit of earthy-spiciness, scorched brown sugar, and rum trying to balance. Near medium body is a tad frothy with carbonation, but mostly smooth and dryish. Excellent, malt-rich bomb just like I like ’em! Bloekie (163), Belgium

Taste is of nuts, smoke and oak. Very deep flavor with an almost overwhelming palate that keeps changing. Really enjoyable beer. omhper (12229), Stockholm, Sweden

Grain and yeast along with nuts, dark fruits, and an almost creamy texture. The flavour performs judo chops on your palate, moving in unexpected directions, morphing like a chamaeleon before surprising you with its next strike. Only complaints are it could be a bit more fizzy, and it doesn’t come in a 40.
