(33cl bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a rocky foamy white head. Herbal, slightly grassy hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus and shy malty notes in the backyard. Bitter flavour with a tinge of acidity, medium to full bodied with a lively carbonation. Soft malty base with notes of citrus and dry herbal hops. Dry and hop bitter finish with herbal and fruity notes in the aftertaste. Another hoppy Belgian Ale that is pretty harsh but also a revelation for every hop head (08.III.09).

Bottle (33cl). Shared by you-know-who ... thanks!...Cloudy yellow pour, huge lasting fluffy white head, with a weird, solid, Devil’s Tower-like plug of foam in the middle of the glass. Sweet and pungently grassy aroma - pear, candy, tons of yeast. Tastes the same, even grassier; thick on the tongue, quite an acidic bite to it; almost sugary up front, but a long funky-pungent linger. Very nice - I’d have this again for sure.

It is a soft, rich, Belgian ale. Round malty body, Duvel-like yeast, and then the extra hops kick in. Golding, Spalt, Tradition and Saaz, according to the label. This does not add up t an extreme beer, but it adds another dimension to the beer, it gets more depth. This is going to be a new benchmark beer. Excellent craftsmanship from Het Anker again. Peaches, lemon, a hint of stable, summer flowers.

Pours a pale hazy light yellow. The had was very profuse, white, and creamy. The nose was citrusy, perfumy, some orange rind and lemongrass, yeasty, light Belgian funk. The flavor was earthy, bitter almost to the degree of astringent, citrusy, some grapefruit peel, a little grassy. The palate was lively with carbonation and bitter.

On tap at The Front Door Boise, Pours out a amber topped with a white head. Aroma of pit fruit sweetness and spice. Tast of belg yeast, spice, and a nice hop. A pretty good brew.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Cloudy brownish yellow colour with foamy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of yeast, grass, hay and fresh hops. Malty, spicy taste with grain, grass, yeast and generous doses of fresh, aromatic hops in a dry finish. Deceptively drinkable. Very nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a golden clear color with huge white lacing head. Aroma is soft fruits with a hoppy and spicy bite. Taste is a spicy fruit with a nice warming citrus flavor.
