Deep golden pour with a seemingly endless head of cream, minuscule, dense bubbles and froth. Taste is bone dry, a touch of warming alcohol under full pale malts with medium hinterspice. Touch of sourness under the herbal tones, controlled low bitterness, some nice peppery punch and rounding phenols. Very similar to my first homebrewed Belgian IPA, with less caramel and denser. swirling hop complexity, and a bit of brighter citrus spark soaring in the upper reaches of the hop stratosphere. Actually, alcohol is rather hidden for 8%. Very enjoyable, a nice showcase of noble hops in an often overlooked utilization. Rciesla (3770), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2009 750 ml bottle. Hazy gold body with a foamy white head and some decent lace. Pleasant aroma with some grain and bread, hop based citrus and some earthiness. Lively carbonation, medium body, clean and dry. Light grainy sweetness succumbs to a bit of spicy bitterness for a dry, but certainly not overly bitter, finish. Furseth (1333), Kungälv, Sweden
