Aroma is great with lots of musty funk but some piney hop follows. Flavor is again musty with some citrus hops with some funk. Very prickly carbonation tingle the tounge as this goes down. Not outstanding but deffinatly good. Saison lovers would really dig this. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods. Hazy golden luminous beer with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy. Fruity apricot/pear and peach with a nice spicy hoppy/zesty aroma. A little bit herbal and spicy aroma over a sweet Belgian malt character. Light bubble gum sweetness. Initially there is a bit of astringency and harshness but this softens considerably as it warms. Soft Saaz herbal bitterness. It’s a decent beer, but it doesn’t really approach the heights that this style can do. MiP (9159), Sønderborg, Denmark
