Sweet with medium-full body, dense mouthfeel. Fruity with some warming alcohol and almondy yeast. Resiny bitter finish. Good and with lots of taste, but more powerful than elegant. michael-pollack (2719), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, lemon, yeast, spices, and grass. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, yeasty, lemony finish is moderately dry. Pretty bold for a Belgian blonde - lots of citrus, lots of hops. But definitely not like the usual hop fix. Dry with spicy/peppery citrus at the end. Aftertaste lingers for a while. Nose fully overpowered by some bananaester. A little bit of garden herbs background, maybe lunaria, quite fruity. More banana, plus bitterness, and a faint smokiness. It’s nice, but NOWHERE hoppy. Soft-sweet finish, again not un-banana like. Medium bodied, quite slick. If this one was called Bananablusser, I’d dig it. But this ISN’T hoppy!

Appearance: Very huge head as whipped eggwhite, leaving shards of lace over pale yellow beer with a greenish shine. 4/5
Aroma: Flowery, dry hops, and aromatic citrus – quite aromatic in general. Much hoppier than the first try already. 7/10
Flavour: MF being very spritzy, again with a slight liquorice thread, walnut peel and dry hops, rather bittering hops than aromatic ones. CO² is very present. 7/10
Palate: Medium bodied, quite slick 3/5
Overall: Definitely better finished on the bottle, compared to the tap-presentation at ZBF. Yet, I expected more lively, citric hops – a bit American, really. Still, no new result, really. 14/20

Pours a murky yellow-gold with tons of large floaties and a massive frothy white head. Aroma is yeasty along with herbal hops, biscuity malt, light spices and some fruit. Nice flavour of Belgian yeast along with a good amount of herbal hops and a bit of alcohol in the long bitter finish. I really enjoy theses hoppy Belgians.
