Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity and alcohol. Flavor is also fruity, some citrus and yeasty. An alcoholic finish.

1/5/09: on tap, Wurstkuche in LA. Gold color with a fluffy head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, fruit and a little pepper. Flavor is yeasty, balanced, of lemonade and biscuit. Excellent tasty, crisp flavor. Palate is smooth, and finish is refreshing. Top notch Triple.

Bottle opened with a loud pop and foam poured out of the neck of the bottle until half of the brew was gone. Disappointing to say the least. What was left was a light straw colored beer with a thick cloud-like head. Aroma is of biscuit, orange peel, and a bit of spice...flavor quite similar. Medium to light in body...wish I had more in my belly.

330 mL into tulip. Pours a translucent light blonde with quite possibly the most enormous head I have ever seen on a beer- huge! Great sticky lacing. Aromas of bitter orange, lemon zest, pineapple, apricot- amazing. Taste is very nice: dried fruits, sugar, orange juice, spicy hops, and Belgian yeast. Slight acidic finish. At 9% this is truly a world class malt and hops balancing act. Very good.

A clear beer with a nice light gold color and a well formed white head that goes fast. Lightly bitter, good drinkable, nice taste, not too yeasty.

Pours pale gold, with a light moussy head. Good lacing. Beautiful aroma - floral and citrus, with some fruit aromas. Compex, and very enjoyable.
