Jun 17, 2008 750 ml bottle. A cloudy golden beer with a generous and persistent white head. Nice aroma, quite powerful and hoppy, with notes of flowers, grass, citric fruits, spices and some alcohol. The flavour is quite sweet, not totally but enough balanced, and with spicy and fruity notes. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, long finish with medium bitterness and some alcohol. Very good tripel, quite drinkable for its size.

Jun 15, 2008 Yes fathers day (and my son has made it even better with some fine beer) and Chicagobears and I are in a sample mood. This is a wonderful Belgium tasting of citrus even pronounced even more at the finish. I will agree the alcohol is well masked.

Jun 15, 2008 One of a string of beer that Dad and I will be sampling for Father’s day. From one of my favorite brewers. A clear looking golden triple pours into Westmalle chalice. Fine fruit esters and spices. Taste is yeasty and zesty. A smooth triple that has a creamy finish. All these fine Belgians seem to mask the alcohol too well.

Jun 11, 2008 Bottle 75cl. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Powerfull moderate malty and heavy hopy aroma. Full of esters and citrus notes. Really great. Heavy bitter flavor. Long powerfull nice finish loaded with fruity esters. Fantascic creamy palate. I love this beer.

Jun 7, 2008 Corked bottle from Party Source. Poured hazy orange color with a huge frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a good sweet beer.
