Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 17, 2008 Feb. 2007 - Pour golden yellow with nice head and lacing. Delicious fruity aroma. Flavor was fruits, spices and a touch of caramel...even a touch of hops. Tons of action in this one. Scrumptious! asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA Feb 14, 2008 Pours hazy bubbly golden with thick, dense white head with lots of lace. Floral and lightly citrus hops in the nose along with doughy grain aroma. Flavor is fruity, lightly sweet, orange and lemon, some deeper fruity esters – apple, peach - hints of herbal hops along with crisp resiny bitterness, lingering bitter and very light alcohol burn in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is very lively, bubbly, rich and textured. I likey. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Feb 12, 2008 Hazy golden color with a hug white head. Smells of fruit and champagne. Almost tastes more like a bittered champagne. Reminds me of eating green apples with the skin on. Long slightly bitter finish. I prefer the classic over this. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Feb 10, 2008 Bottle, Cambrinus, Brugge. Slightly cloudy blonde, thin white head. Nose is sherberty, medicinal, some sweet funkiness. Weird warmness. Mouth is long, sweet, slightly metallic, sweet fruit. Some maltiness. Odd for a tripel. Not a fan though. jujubeast6000 (768), Houston, Texas, USA Jan 30, 2008 (bottle from AZ): Pours a very pale golden yellow color. Somewhat cloudy. Big foamy white head, big bubbles, mostly lasting. Floral sweet aroma, light. Light grapes, sugary. Some alcohol,a little hops. Soft floral taste, some rubbing alcohol. Warming up...less alcoholy, a little warming. Very light flavor. Tiboron (13), Florida, USA Jan 27, 2008 750 ml btl from fourwinds...wow..a little darker than most triples..this is deffently one you should tryout..one of my favs..can taste the alc though DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jan 24, 2008 Hazy dull yellow with a medium white head, dense. I left the last half-inch in the bottle as there were huge floculent particles in the sediment. Aroma of boiled pasta, bread dough, and alcohol. Malty creamy palate, predominantly bready flavour with floral notes and maybe a bit of lemon in the finish with alcohol steadily apparent. BBD of 2009, but something seems wrong with that. Disappointing to say the least. Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Jan 12, 2008 cloudy goldblond coloured body with a white head a spicy fruity aroma a spicy bitter tate and a bitter alcoholic finich
