| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 24, 2008 Hazy dull yellow with a medium white head, dense. I left the last half-inch in the bottle as there were huge floculent particles in the sediment. Aroma of boiled pasta, bread dough, and alcohol. Malty creamy palate, predominantly bready flavour with floral notes and maybe a bit of lemon in the finish with alcohol steadily apparent. BBD of 2009, but something seems wrong with that. Disappointing to say the least. Wim (1288), Turnhout, Belgium

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Hazy, "cerise de terre" colored, good head but poor retention, yet the bubbling is small and compact. Aroma of butter, ripe lemon, pear and pepper. The aroma is not bright, in terms of intensity and 3d. Flavor is moderately sweet and taken over by an ethylic bitterness, perhaps somewhat reminiscent of wood. The texture is buttery, oily and smooth, even sensual! Very enjoyable, but could be more precisely defined as for the aroma and flavor. AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA

Another great Belgium triple.2003
