Jan 10, 2008 Hazy, "cerise de terre" colored, good head but poor retention, yet the bubbling is small and compact. Aroma of butter, ripe lemon, pear and pepper. The aroma is not bright, in terms of intensity and 3d. Flavor is moderately sweet and taken over by an ethylic bitterness, perhaps somewhat reminiscent of wood. The texture is buttery, oily and smooth, even sensual! Very enjoyable, but could be more precisely defined as for the aroma and flavor.

Jan 9, 2008 75 cl. bottle pours a light amber fluid with a decent two finger white head. Smells peppery, lemongrass.Medium bodied with a bubbley, lively mouthfeel. Superb lemongrass, black pepper, leather, and woody oak wine barrel taste. Finishes with a slight hop - alcohol tang. Another great Belgium triple.2003

Liqourice possibly, I don’t like that.All that said, I’m enjoying it. Sharp flavours that if I knew more about beer I could tell you. Try one, very nice. Re-rate hmmm much better now. Love it.

Dec 26, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden color into the tulip glass. An inch of fluffy white head stuck around for a while. Scents of bananas, malt and spices. Beautiful fruity tastes with malt and yeast in the finish. Excelleny tripel.

Dec 24, 2007 Very nice fruit aroma. Great flavor with nice spice character and a good yeast flavor. Alcohol is very noticiblen but it has a nice full body that makes it a very nice treat.
