Sep 23, 2007 Bottle: Poured a golden to hazy yellow, with a thick white head. The aroma is very citrus and spice. Taste is similar very citrus not sour but tangy to the taste buds. Not something I would drink normally, but a nice change of pace beer.

Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes, bananes, léger de poires et de pommes, notes de pêches), malté de sucre bonbon, léger de caramel, de pain et de gomme balloune, moyen d’épices (clou de girofle, léger de coriandre et de poivre) et léger d’alcool et de houblon floral. Moyenne-ronde en bouche avec un pétillement plutôt élevé et une texture crémeuse et aux petites notes sirupeuses. Goût de levures fruitées (oranges sucrées, poires, moyen de bananes et de pommes, léger de pêches sucrées, notes de figues) avec un goût épicé (clou de girofle, léger de coriandre, notes de cannelle) et des notes de gomme balloune ainsi que des petites traces boisées lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de sucre bonbon et léger de caramel avec des notes de pain et de miel parallèlement à un moyen goût d’alcool réchauffant (faibles notes métalliques) puis en finale l’on retrouve un goût asséchant et moyennement amer de houblon floral (notes herbeuses) ainsi qu’un goût de levures épicées (poivre). Post-goût long et plutôt sec, moyennement amer de levures, de houblon floral et d’alcool moyen ainsi qu’un goût fruité (zest d’agrumes, pelures de pommes, notes de pelures de bananes).

Sep 2, 2007 750ml bottle. Hazy yellow color, with a thick white head. The flavor is of bananas, and a sweetness I can’t pin down. The flavor is a mix of sweetness with bitterness thrown in. A little spice, honey, and hops, with a finish of some yeast. Nice warming sensation and the alcohol isn’t too obvious.

Aug 19, 2007 Medium white head. Golden body. Full, deep, soft golden fruity sweetish aroma of milky honey, malts, toffee, spice, and hops. Incredible harmony and balance; almost perfect. Sharp, spicy milky honey taste with notes of tobacco and fruit. Dry, musty malty tobacco aftertaste. (0.33l bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Probably not a perfect bottle. Want to rerate. And rerate. And rerate.)
