Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Hazy straw color with a large, lasting foamy, white head. Excellent aroma. Spicy, hops, banana, citrus (oranges, grapefruit), floral, and some yeast. Flavor is spicy, yeast, alcohol (which was hiding in the aroma), citrus hops, cinnamon, and dark fruits. Creamy, spicy body. Very suprised by this beer that I have passed over again and again. Excellent.

Flaske. En rigtig god triple, med alt hvad den skal have. Lækker duft af triple gær og den diskrete efterduft af hvede. Ligger godt i munden.

From my fall 2006 notebook. Hazy yellow gold body with ample head. Spicy nose with plenty of hops. Dry hoppy body that pairs exceedingly well with buffalo.

Beautiful golden body with a full white head. Strong aroma of a hay field plus tons of sweet sugary stuff plus fruit and spices. The mouthfeel is amazing. Maybe one of the creamiest beers I’ve had. Very buttery tasting with an after taste that might be a bit too sweet.

Pours hazy golden with a medium off-white or tan head. Nose is spicy yeast, dates, cinnamon. Flavor of figs and dates, cinnamon and basil and allspice. Quite sweet and malty, honeyed towards the middle, with a strongly alcoholic finish. Lingering spicy and honeyed aftertaste almost like bakleva. Oily mouthfeel. Good

Good beer, very fruity, Very fruity and floral aroma. Taste is of figs, citrus and caramel a little sweet for my taste which cost it only slightly in the ratings. Mouthfeel is good and finish is pleseant.

Exquisite! Lots of esters, fine carbonation, fine tang on the tongue. Definite warming effect. Lightly tarnished brass color. Bananas and ripe exotic fruit in the now. Fine lace. Slightly dry in the finsih. Good burps. Had this one at Bodega Brew Pub, downtown La Crosse, Wis. USA

Bottle, IBS, Perth, WA Nice spicy, and dry aroma, with a hint of noble hops. Dry and crisp flavours, with a weighty mouthfeel. A very good triple
