Apr 21, 2007 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a huge moslty lasting creamy white head. Rich aroma and taste of malts, fruits, orange, and hops. Creamy palate.

Apr 21, 2007 Bottle. Murky gold color like an unsettled wort. Frothly white head that isn’t going anywhere. Carbonation is there, but hard to see through the cloudiness. Aroma is packed with honey, nutmeg, orange peel, an other assorted spices. A tingly flavor leaning toward citrus and nutmeg but a fair amount of hops to balance the sweet. What your left with is a warm alcohol finsih like a good brandy. Admirably light palate handling the 9% alcohol with ease. A quencing brew that will warm you up and make you smile.

Apr 20, 2007 On Tap @Toronado on 3/30/07. Pours straw with a thin white head. The aroma was sweet with candied sugar. The taste was also sweet but also slightly hoppy. Very good tripel.

Apr 19, 2007 Poured into Trappist glass. Deep gold color, lacing present. Well formed slightly off-white one finger head that quickly dissipates. Perfumy aroma. Slightly malty flavor with hops dominating. Medium bitterness. I don’t notice the alcohol. Not bad, but I’ve had better tripels.

Apr 18, 2007 On tap at the Sharp Edge Creekhouse. Nice tripel that I have been waiting a while to try. Pour was a cloudy gold with a finger head. Aroma was sweet and yeasty. Taste was strong and different than I’ve had for a tripel. Tasted like a yeasty dry Belgian with crushed up Fruity Pebbles in it yet had some citrus and lemon in the background. Perfumy in the mouth and in the swallow. This is a unique beer.

Apr 17, 2007 This beer looks like a brick of gold. It’s a bit hazy and has a small white head. The aroma is juicy and carries something herbal and something barn-like. It hits the tounge with a juicy sizzle. It’s fluffy and perhaps a bit alkaline. The flavor is malt, citrus... It’s tangy, sour and plenty bitter. Lemon peel is the flavor that dominates. A good tripel.

Apr 16, 2007 do any of the beers on tap at Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philly disappoint? apparently not. beautiful murky blood-orange egg-yoke body with a tiny white fizz rim head. smells of grass and citrus. tastes slightly bitter, light-citrus hops. becomes more bitter toward the end. hints of grapefruit. very tasty.

Apr 15, 2007 Bottle. 11.2 FL. OZ. Pours a golden brown color with a very active head that starts out big then quickly diminishes to almost nothing. Strong aroma of raisin and butterscotch. Light to medium bodied with some lively carbonation. Very sweet flavor that covers the alcohol nicely.
