yesyouam (587), Fairport, New York, USA Apr 17, 2007 This beer looks like a brick of gold. It’s a bit hazy and has a small white head. The aroma is juicy and carries something herbal and something barn-like. It hits the tounge with a juicy sizzle. It’s fluffy and perhaps a bit alkaline. The flavor is malt, citrus... It’s tangy, sour and plenty bitter. Lemon peel is the flavor that dominates. A good tripel. Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Apr 16, 2007 do any of the beers on tap at Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philly disappoint? apparently not. beautiful murky blood-orange egg-yoke body with a tiny white fizz rim head. smells of grass and citrus. tastes slightly bitter, light-citrus hops. becomes more bitter toward the end. hints of grapefruit. very tasty. FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 15, 2007 Bottle. 11.2 FL. OZ. Pours a golden brown color with a very active head that starts out big then quickly diminishes to almost nothing. Strong aroma of raisin and butterscotch. Light to medium bodied with some lively carbonation. Very sweet flavor that covers the alcohol nicely. slimchill (773), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 14, 2007 Updated: Apr 22, 2007Bottle. Sweet malt nose with some floral hop notes. Hints of figs, cinnamon, sour apples, some sourdough background. Beautiful cloudy orange with a frothy heavy white head. Leaves some huge lacing. Creamy palate, nice and smooth start to finish. Not too complex flavor, but still really nice. Well-balanced yeasty sourness with some subdued sweetness. Tinge of alcohol GonZoBeeR (2156), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Apr 8, 2007 Aroma:brown sugar,caramel,fruity....

Flavor:caramel-brown sugar, floral, light alcohol,banana.... Sincere (145), wichita, Kansas, USA Apr 8, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a beautifully murky honey colored body with a decent thick white head of micro-bubbles that leave leggy lacing. Fairly active carbonation. The aroma of sugar and caramel combined with a hint of dough keeps this abbey’s nose true to style. The taste starts dull for the first second, with only an earthy tone that explodes in to a bloom of floral and citrus flavor with a wonderfully malty and alcohol-laden finish that’s accompanied by a decent bubbly mouthfeel that isn’t to astringent to the palate. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2007 750 ml bottle. Shiny gold body with abundant carbonation and a big, foamy white head. Aroma has sweet floral tones plus fresh bread and candy corn notes. Semi-sweet flavor with pleasant yeast characters, a nice rounded malt profile, and light bitterness. Very elegant and pleasing without any wrong notes.
