Pours a mirky blonde, with a good head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Flavor is apricots, bready yeast, and a nice tart sweetness, very refined. snowden719 (130), USA Aug 27, 2006 Pours slightly hazy golden with a large white soft head. Aroma is light fruits, yeast , sugar, bit of citrus. Flavor has some breadiness, but dominated by light fruits, some corriander, citrus in the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth, bit overcarbonated. vyvvy (2023), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Aug 21, 2006 Cork reads 2/05. Pours hazy yellow / orange with a healthy white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with white grape, plum, pepper, vanilla, earthiness and alcohol. Medium / full bodied with sharper than normal carbonation for the style. Taste is fruity with light spice - think earthy fell with banana hints. Finish has spiciness from hops, banana comes out more and there is an ABV kick. Overall a nice tripel, but the alcohol is not hidden as well as in many others. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 16, 2006 Bottled. Pours a slightly hazy medium orange/golden color. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Some candy-like sugary scents. A dark almost vinous quality along with yeast as well. Flavor is dark and rich. Some yeast and a hint of grain. Some fig and/or raisin. A touch of alcohol in the finish. Good tripel. muenster (339), Sevierville, Tennessee, USA Aug 14, 2006 Updated: Aug 30, 2007Draught from The Map Room.
