| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 22, 2006 Hazy orange with a thin white head. Not much retention when served warm. Hints of white wine, orange, candy apple, apricot. banana, grapes, lemons and cloves come into the aroma. Quite fruity. Taste was quite floral with the apple, banana and white wine dominating. Palate was very sugary and had a thick body. This a strong Tripel yet is was very easy to approach. Well done. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2006 Pours somewhat of a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head which dissipates as it warms. Pear, white wine/white grapes in the nose; very fruity. Flavor has notes of sweet pale malt, apple, pear, spices, lemon, white wine, caramel and a little raisin. Pleasantly sweet, the hops establish enough of their presence to balance it out but most of the flavor comes from the malt and yeast. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and spritzy yet soft carbonation. Overall, quite enjoyable. zach8270 (2079), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2006 (draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Thick and cloudy orange color with a white head. Aroma has lots of spices, malts, yeast and some citrus I believe. Flavor begins very sweet and malty with a nice and smooth flow all throughout the beer. Finish is very smooth and warming and it hides the alcohol until it gets pretty warm. Then you can taste the full 9%. I definitely knocked back a couple of these babies. Very tasty. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2006 33cl bottle. Pours cloudy gold with an ample white head that lasts forever and laces right to the bottom of the glass. Spicy banana aroma with a little citrus thrown in for fun. The flavor is so sweet, you expect it to become annoying, but it doesn’t. It simply masks the alcohol. GG (1619), NorCal, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Golden hazy beer with a phenomenal head. Nice and fluffy. Aroma was pretty complex with notes of spiciness, grassy hops, lemon grass, pineapple and bananna. I felt this was more akin to a saison due to how fruity and light it was, than to a triple. No noticeable alcohol made this one go down very nicely. MesandSim (5807), London, Greater London, England

33cl bottle from Utobeer. A very fine tripel indeed and for my money one of the best. Malty and sweet aroma. Dark hazy golden body with a well formed head and attractive lacing. Lots of sweetness in the flavour but never too much. Slight aniseed notes with a touch of toffee and caramel and also something decidedly fruity. Maybe raspberry. Alcohol shows through in the spicy finish. A very fine brew overall.
