| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2008 I paid $4.55 at the Northcoast Coop in Eureka. This poured a clear golden color with a nice fat white head and copious lacing. Nose of citrus and fruit, with some clove spice. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel, but not unpleasant. Flavor is yeasty with lots of fruits. Very nice to drink. Bart (1653), Brussels, Belgium

Rather sweet spicy aroma, little yeasty touches and some fruity (banana, ...) hints. Nice full body. Bitter sweet spicy finish with some alcoholic touches. A very nice abbey tripel. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Bottle- Deep hazy yellow topped with active bleached white froth. Nice lace. Spicy, floral nose with lots of soft fruit and bready yeasty nuances. The flavour is quite nice. Huge fruit component with lots of spices and floral edges, yeasty with sweet sugars. Bready with super sharp hop profile and freah leafy greens towards the finish. Quite assertive and full bodied. A hop forward, very full triple that I like. GG (1648), NorCal, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Golden hazy beer with a phenomenal head. Nice and fluffy. Aroma was pretty complex with notes of spiciness, grassy hops, lemon grass, pineapple and bananna. I felt this was more akin to a saison due to how fruity and light it was, than to a triple. No noticeable alcohol made this one go down very nicely. NachlamSie (1644), Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 15, 2008 small bottle. Pours a cloudy orange/gold with a very tall and well formed white head. I’m surpsised at the sheer amount of pepper in the aroma. I’ve noticed other similar beers suggest pepper, but this one is excedingly rich in vegetal aromas. I also get lemon, banana, and soft spices. The palate is delightfully creamy while the flavor leans more towards fruits and dry spices than in the vegetal direction. This is a very smooth and complete package. It has just a tinge of wildness and a solid fruity sweet foundation. It’s delicate, yet robust. Very well done tripel. kiefdog (1629), Tampa, Florida, USA
