Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Faintly hazy gold orange with smallish short lasting yellow head. Luscious fruity hops, spices and honey, with some candy malt aroma. Medium -large body. Strong nicely balanced, bitter-sweet palate hiding the 9% very well. Softer dry bitter refreshing finish and long fruity sweet burp. Recommended to all lovers of strong Belgians - go and get yourself some.

Hazy yellow, with a large white head. Aroma of bread, honey and fruit. Flavor is mostly sweet with some bitternes. Finish is mildly dry. Good Triple.

This was wonderful. Belgian appearance; rich golden body, huge head. Nose of a tripel ... bread and yeast. Taste of a tripel, bread, yeast, with a longer and more bitter finish than I expected. Wonderfully creamy palate.

A beautiful dark golden colored beer, with a very large white thick foamy head. A lot of aroma’s, a combination of caramel, fruits, like raisins. Also light spicy. A rich taste of banana, pine, honey and malt. It’s complex and balanced. A beer to enjoy on a nice summer day.

Cloudy orange color with a big white head that quickly dissipated. Spicy, yeasty aroma with a lot of banana in there. Spicy flavor of baked bread, citrus and banana. As it warmed, the flavor of caramel started coming through. An aftertaste of black tea that was very pleasant. Very unique and delicious.

Man,I liked the spicey nose from this.Has some sweet fruitiness to it but I guess that the yeast in this gives it a apricot/aromatic aroma. This is a little flatter in flavor as the spiciness is more subdued that I would have liked.Still a fine tripel.
