Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

750ml bottle: Shimmering yellow pour with a three-finger whipped head that settles into a firm cap on top. The aroma is all yeast and honey - lots of ripe banana, pear, sweet apple - wrapped in an ethery blanket. Big, chewy mouthfeel. Hot alcohol vapor fills the mouth with each sip. Dirty, but sweet, malts offer honey and sugary toffee while the fruit esthers continue to bombard the tongue. Cool down the fusels in this and it would be more enjoyable. As is, still darn good.

Pours a very hazy dark yellow orange color with a medium amount of froathy white head. Aroma is very sweet and fruity, passion fruit, grapefruit, and banana. Flavor is very smooth and sweet, honey and banana and apple and orange. Finish is dry but still sweet and nectary. Overall, an alltime favorite. Wish i had more.

Spiritus hop malt aroma. Murky yellow colour with very thick sudsy head and fantastic lacing. Strong sharp flavour with malt flowers and hops. Smooth palate.

330ml brown bottle. Gold in colour, huge white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and orange notes, also some spice. Sweet malt flavour with orange, lemon and honey. Spicy yeast and citrus come out in the dry finish. Medium body, crisp tingly carbonation. Het Anker’s beers continue to impress me.

Flaske. En rigtig god triple, med alt hvad den skal have. Lækker duft af triple gær og den diskrete efterduft af hvede. Ligger godt i munden.

11.2 ounce bottle in Duvel glass. Hazy orange with flat white head and some lace. Yeasty spicy orange tobacco aroma. Sweet honey orange spicy with mild tobacco bitterness and lingering orangy spiciness. Medium body and carbo. Nice mouthfeel. Very good. I know this is a great beer, having had it many times. But, once again, tryng to get fresh beer around here in Long Island is very difficult.
