Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Bottle: Golden and cloudy with a heavy head. Sweet and fruity aroma with a clear fresh taste. Good alcohol balance with clear notes of malt and yeast.

Hazy golden color, thin head, very sweet,... a bit overwalming, some nice spices, dont taste the big alcohol level, I wonder of they use only natural ingredients,..so brewery sent the ingredients and I will re-rate

750 ml corked and caged bottle pours a cloudy yellow orange with a nice off white head that leaves a sticky lacing in my glass. Fruity yeasty aroma of pears and apples. Sweet and malty fruity pear and tart apple flavors with a slight bubblegum yeasty taste. Medium-full body with a carbonated crisp mouthfeel, alcohol presence come out as it warms, finishes sweet, very nice.

I like this brewery, and this is a nice triple. Malty, as is characteristic of Het Anker's brews. Beautiful deep golden color, and the head is just the right size, hence the 5 for appearance. Soft mouthfeel, and the alcohol is well integrated into the overall flavor. A class act.

Nice golden color, surprisingly clear, with a very thick layer of soft cream-colored suds. Beautiful lace clings to the glass as I savor every sip. Bold sweet malt with honey, alcohol, a little peppery spice, and a faint bubblegum taste. Finishes on the dry side, with the alcohol being dominant. Then some residual sweetness. As I pour the third glass (my wife had the second glass) the color is more murky and amber from the yeast I stirred up. I swear there is more alcohol in the flavor now than before.

Pours a golden yellow color with big off white head. Aromas of bananas, yeast, malt. Flavor is fruity with hints of yeast and spice. Medium body with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. This is one of my favorite tripels. Excellent!

Bottle. A quite strong aroma of yeast, some champagne and bread, very little sweetness. The head is very large, foamy and white with a long duration. The body is orange. The taste is very sour, a malty aftertaste. the finish is medium long and mild. The body is creamy and lively with a lot of carbonation and a medium strong body.

Deep golden color, crisp mouthfeel. Bitter citrus character to it, and another phrase in my notes that I cannot read.
