Aug 28, 2005 Not as fruity, sweet, or complex as some others of the style, but still a very good beer. Substantial body. There is a thick white head that lasts so long I was getting impatient to drink the cloudy, dark orange beer. Powerful aroma of sweet fruit. Flavor is primarily sweet with a bit of the alcohol coming through. Sweet malt in the finish. This can’t stand up to Tripel Karmeliet but is vastly superior to Westmalle and many others.

Nov 6, 2006 Smells like a triple with just a little extra malt. Pretty dry, w/some noticeable finishing hops. Another nice beer, no. 27, for the list.

Apr 3, 2004 (Bottled, at the Helsinki Beer Festival 2004) Muddy, dark golden color, small head. Sourish, fruity aroma. Extremely fruity, slightly sweet orange peel / ginger flavor with honey. Medium to full-bodied, refreshing, slightly carbonated palate.

Nov 13, 2004 Cloudy orange color with a big white head that quickly dissipated. Spicy, yeasty aroma with a lot of banana in there. Spicy flavor of baked bread, citrus
and banana. As it warmed, the flavor of caramel started coming through. An
aftertaste of black tea that was very pleasant. Very unique and delicious.

Jun 6, 2006 Bottle. Nice soft banana bread, apple, and clove nose. Hazy light gold body with a thick attractive foamy head. Soft mouthfeel with a touch of alcohol and CO2. Notes of brown sugar, alcohol, floral notes, cinnamon, watered down whisky, warming going down, cotton, and a big herbal/phenol presence I can’t put my finger on. Very enjoyable, one of the better Triples that I have had.

May 5, 2007 Bottle: Big yeasty aroma wiht moderate banana, apple, spice, pepper, and a hint of alcohol. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a big creamy white head with great retention and a thick coating of lacing. The flavor starts with mdoerate apple, bubblegum, and light banana. The finish has very light flowery bitterness, light orange peel, and a hint of pepper. There is a very mild tartness in the background.
