Commercial Description:
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Bottle: Big yeasty aroma wiht moderate banana, apple, spice, pepper, and a hint of alcohol. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a big creamy white head with great retention and a thick coating of lacing. The flavor starts with mdoerate apple, bubblegum, and light banana. The finish has very light flowery bitterness, light orange peel, and a hint of pepper. There is a very mild tartness in the background.

On tap at Great Dane - Hilldale. Pours a beautiful hazy golden with a full head. Fruity nose followed the same in the mouth. Pears, green apples, apricots, cardamon. Slightly sour. but well balanced overall. A bit of yeast and sourdough. Nice.

Cloudy amber with a big lasting creamy white head. The aroma is sweet and citrussy/toffee-ish, the flavour is sweet citrus and alcholic with a touch of spice but i like it. Kind of different to the other Tripels i’ve had but will deff try again.

Poured into a Gouden Carolus glass. Cloudy fainted yellow colour, an abslolutely enormous head that lasts for all its life in the glass. Fresh floral aroma, wet earth, clove, coriander and citrus.Harsh in the palate, with orange, cookies, dust, acidic finish. A very good one.

Really nice hazy orange pour with a really thick and sticky head. Nice citrusy scent. A definately tripple, and a good one. Spicy citrusy and warm. I found it a bit overcarbonated but it’s a minor complaint.

The 11.2 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy golden amber beverage with an ample frothy white head that was mostly lasting and left great lacing on the glass. The first aroma that hit me was bubble gum and then came a sweet fruitiness accompanied by pepper, coriander and honey ... very yummy. The body was medium with a very active carbonation level and a slight syrupy texture. The flavor starts out moderately sweet with honey, fruits and spices. This sweetness stays consistent through the long finish and is completed by a big alcohol warmth in the chest.

Large head on this cloudy golden body. Excellent taste for a blonde. Taste has sweet notes, honey or other, citrus fruits and spices. Alcohol is well hidden and the general impression is excellent. A pleasure to drink. Finish is bitter.

Hazilla gold pour with a dumpling of a head here. Lots of yummy yeast, fruits, and a bouqet or fresh flowers hits you in the face and taste. Some citrics and a salty aftertaste. Some post alchohol and a faint tip of hops. enjoyable loverly.
