Much creamy and bulky head, optimal persistence and adhesion. Rather clear yellow/orange color, a lot hazy. Dense and decidedly impenetrable one. Much flowery and alcoholic scent; pleasant notes of wine cellar, dried flower, leaven and mildew. Pungent, wrapping, solid and much alcoholic taste. Rather sweetish and nearly balsamic on the end. Valid but with some excess. AmEricanbrew (1828), bankrupt socialistwelfare state, Washington DC, USA

Aroma of yeast, sweet roast caramel malt, spices - a fruity, malty treat. Taste follows directly on, with alcohol and a little musty woodiness in the mix - sryupy, sharp and warming, moderately lively. Very nice, I like all the Gouden Carolus offerings I’ve tried immensely. sinkas (182), Perth/Fremantle, Australia
