Strong aroma of a hay field plus tons of sweet sugary stuff plus fruit and spices. The mouthfeel is amazing. Maybe one of the creamiest beers I’ve had. Very buttery tasting with an after taste that might be a bit too sweet. Tmoney99 (4771), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured hazy orange color with a huge frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a good sweet beer. hayduke (1658), Eureka, California, USA

This poured a clear golden color with a nice fat white head and copious lacing. Nose of citrus and fruit, with some clove spice. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel, but not unpleasant. Flavor is yeasty with lots of fruits. Very nice to drink. beerbiere (101), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Hazy, "cerise de terre" colored, good head but poor retention, yet the bubbling is small and compact. Aroma of butter, ripe lemon, pear and pepper. The aroma is not bright, in terms of intensity and 3d. Flavor is moderately sweet and taken over by an ethylic bitterness, perhaps somewhat reminiscent of wood. The texture is buttery, oily and smooth, even sensual! Very enjoyable, but could be more precisely defined as for the aroma and flavor. tomciccateri (514), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

Pours a huge fluffy gradually deflating white head, over a clear, pale yellow (SRM 5) body.....nose is spice, including clove, allspice, bit of banana, bubblegum....taste initially is minimally sweet malts, followed up by allspice, lemon, apple and pineapple, finishes dry with a bit of pepper with attractive lacing.....mouth feel is light to medium, carbonation very high. This is a very typical Triple, a style that I love, with all the usual spice and layers of complex nose and taste. larsga (2970), Oslo, Norway

Full, deep, soft golden fruity sweetish aroma of milky honey, malts, toffee, spice, and hops. Incredible harmony and balance; almost perfect. Sharp, spicy milky honey taste with notes of tobacco and fruit. Dry, musty malty tobacco aftertaste. (0.33l bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Probably not a perfect bottle. Want to rerate. And rerate. And rerate.) giarcsr (103), Carlsbad, California, USA

Aroma is at first a little disapointing, but after a few wiffs I thought that it actually wasn’t bad and in keeping with the style. There are hints of orange and other fruits in addition to the nice maltyness. Flavor is very good. It’s light and airy with a citrus component. Good beer, I’d drink it again.
