| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 25, 2008 This was wonderful. Belgian appearance; rich golden body, huge head. Nose of a tripel ... bread and yeast. Taste of a tripel, bread, yeast, with a longer and more bitter finish than I expected. Wonderfully creamy palate. jimhilt (1682), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 3, 2005 Pours a two-finger white head that vanishes without a trace lace. Cloudy amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Nose is distinctly raisins, starts sweet and finishes sweet and sour but mellow. No hint of alcohol!! Another excellent triple. 330ml bottle for $3.49 from Hoosick St. Discount Bev, Troy, NY. DCopperfields (144), Alabama, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 3, 2004 Lightly citrousy on the nose, a touch peppery.
Beautiful, hazy golden color with a big, fluffy white head consisting of a mountainous range of deeply packed little bubbles. Bold flavor, big mouthfeel. Sharply astringent, relaxed by a wave of sweet malt hopped just so. Tart, nevertheless. Fruity, leathery nature caries through to a dry finish. Nice. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 31, 2004 Pours light orange with a tall foaming off white head. Fantastic spiced bread, herbal aroma. Caramel, kiwi, pepper. Toasty. Very dry with some sharp honey notes. Grass and strawberry in the finish. Although not a text book tripel, this stuff is very tastey. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Hazy blond to golden body, with a lovely thick and creamy off-white head. Aroma is very complex, spices, banana, yeast, very peppery, some orange too, apple, lovely aroma. At the first taste, you cant really understand that its a triple, cause your mind tells you that this should be a dark belgian ale. But then the spices and the fresh yeastyness hits you, and then youre sold. A good alcohol burn in the end finishes the whole deal off perfectly. A very nice and balanced brew. Im really beginning to like triples and this one is magnificent. Another fantastic brew from Het Anker. macguy (145), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 26, 2007 Delicious triple. Nice white head, beautiful lacing, Nose has anise notes. Taste is a little sweet for me, but delicious. The color is amber with a nice cloud. Doggythedog (1589), Split, Croatia
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Poured a nice golden body on top of which perched a medium sized white head that went away fast. The nose is lovely... bubblegum, banana, really perfumey, malt, some coriander. The taste is again fruity, coriander, honey, oranges, apple, candy, yeast... Lovely. Definitely not a by the book triple... Damn I love this brewery. drfabulous (1243), Columbia, Missouri, USA
