Draft - Brasserie Beck. Hazed yellow, thin foamy white head. Initial aromas of cotton candy perfume warm to notes of anise and coriander. Room temp bring out notes of sweet bready citrus. Honeyed fuzzy fruit and waxy spice flavors ride touches of floral grassiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, fruity finish. A good sipper on this warm summer afternoon...

Aug 28, 2008 Pours a pale hazy yellow with a two finger creamy white head. The nose was sweet, yeasty, grapes, spicy, some white pepper, cardamom, orange peel and lemongrass show as it warms. The flavor was sweet, nice spicy/yeasty character, curacao, hoppyness shows as it warms, peppery. I’d have to say this is one of my favorite tripels, very nice and very gratifying as it warms.

Aug 28, 2008 Wait a minute, Ethan just turned 21? I have been contributing to his delinquency for over a year now! Gold pour with a slight haze. Fluff white head a typical Gouden lace. Complex aroma, very fruity. Flavor is loads of fruit, malts and yeast. Well balanced and complex!

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle shared by aubreya at Milltown in honor of Ethan’s 21st bday. Congrats, bro! I didn’t take any notes on this one, but it was very nice indeed. Solid tripel with alcohol well hidden. I kind of wish I would have taken notes. Very enjoyable.

does not count  Aug 23, 2008 My store recently received this beer not too long ago. I was told by the employee that this was his favorite of the brand that they currently had in stock, so I went ahead and bought a four-pack. This is some amazing beer. The appearance is wonderful. I had a taste of it very cold, and it was great, but I think when it warmed up a little bit, it hit the spot just right. Overall, this is probably one of the best beers I have been able to try in my location.

Aroma: inviting, banana, fruit, sweet. 9 out of 10.
Visuals: gusher, hazy, golden, beautiful, sunrise, thin, white head, nice lacing. 5 out of 5.
Taste: banana, some bitterness, dark, chemical. 8 out of 10.
Palate: biting, drying, sandy, woody, long finish. 4 out of 5.
Overall: Unique. Seems commercial for a Belgian offering, but not bad. It’s good, but I wouldn’t travel for it. okay craft. 17 out of 20.
