Ole_R (1183), Oslo, Norway Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, 6,5% abv. Big foamy white head leaving fine laces. Reddish-amber color. Sweet grapefruity and piney hops to the nose, also a scent of toffee. Taste is pleasant bitter-sweet, fresh citric and malty. Medium to full body. Strong piney bitterness in a long finish. A very nice one.
Mogwai (175), Askeby, Denmark Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with off-white head. Aroma is hops with fruit. Flavor is the same with caramel and slight liquorice. Good. plovmand (525), Helsinge, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep amber with a good lasting white head. Good hoppy nose with pine and fresh fruit. Flavour is quite hoppy for a GB beer and I sense caramel and pine. Good brew. Plimmer (240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 19, 2008 Bottle 66cl. Clear deep amber body with medium size off white head. Lots of hops in the nose. Sweet fat body dominated by roasted malt and a hoppy aftertaste. Alcohol a bit too dominating in my point of view, but a nice beer. mybestfriend (250), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber colour with a tan head. Aroma is quite hoppy (cascade) with some malty caramel in the background. Flavour is more or less like the aroma.
