(Bottle) Poured reddish brown and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma was malty and spicy. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, spices, sweetness, hint of chocolate, bitterness and roastedness. Spicy and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle no.17 from 2007. Pours a cloudy amber, not much head. Sweet vegetably aroma, body is chewy with plenty of hops, hints of root veg (but not in a bad way!), pine and dark fruit cake, nutmeg coming through in the aftertaste, honey too as the temperature rises.

Hazy red/brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma: Not as strong aroma. Dark fruit, malt, alc., caramel. Taste: Good balance between bitter and sweet. The cinnamon and nutmeg is very present in the taste. Very christmasy. Low carb. Good one.

66cl bottle from super brugsen birkerød. this better taste good, i bruised two knees, got a hole in my pants, and broke a bottle of cider trying to bike it (and about 15 like it) 8km. home in a stormy night, after a tasting at faroeviking’s place in 2008. best before 29-4-2009 , sampled 3-feb-2009. cloudy deep amber with few small debris, lots of small bubbles. large thick soft solid head. looks very nice. aroma of dark fruits, plums, raisins, faint alc. good aroma but could have been stronger. flavor is soft, dark fruits, faint licorice, sweetness. honey if i should place it, it would be a cross between a mild, soft and well balanced belgian triple or quad, and a danish christmas brew. This is extremely tasty and also an easy drinker. and strong. good for the ladies lol.
