HenrikSoegaard (2899), Randers, Denmark May 16, 2008 Bottle. vintage 2002. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty heavy hoppy aroma. Strong moderatre bitter flavopr with nice licorice notes. Long perfect finish. Creamy palate. Excellent.
Optigon (533), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jul 15, 2008 Pours brown with a moderate, fine head. Smells of pinto beans, which I’m not crazy over, but it’s definitely a change of pace. Flavor is pleasantly complex with more malt and fruity notes. Defreni (445), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Flaske. I det hele taget dejlig øl. skoisirius (429), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, and its been a while. Mediocre attempt at a Triple, but comes off okay. Fairly sweet with dry notes hidden towards the finish. Bits of yeast and spice stuck out. Worth a try, but there is definitely better Triples out there. lebshiff21 (15), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Capones. Pretty decent tripel. It said on the beer menu that this was brewed especially for export to the U.S.? Interesting.
Hazy golden pour w/ thin creamy white head. Sweet sugary & citrus right away, after lingering on the palate it balances out nicely w/ hints of banana, clove, and spice. Overall a nice tripel. Stefano (940), Esbjerg, Denmark Jul 10, 2008 Pours hazy orange-gold with a large white head. Aroma is floral and fruity hops. Taste is moderate yeastiness and a hint of cream. Bitter finish. Overall a very nice tripel.
