lb4lb (1340), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 11, 2008 Bottle shared at tasting courtesy of Humulone_Red, I believe. Thanks!
Pours a light hazy golden color with a thin filmy head. Smell is delicate, light, floral and with obvious belgian character about it. Taste is sweet, then dry, dusty and floral. Perhaps a hint of tartness? Unique beer.
Fin (2164), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Aug 14, 2008 Bottle kindly passed onto me by Glen, Imdownthepub, cheers mate Nice pour quite clear golden with just a merest hint of haze nice white bubbly head. Toffee and banana dominate the nose along with some yeast. This is a strong quite sweet beer but very flavoursome, the toffee and banana show again, there is some citrus but very little bitterness, its a nice beer. Maria (3963), Thisted, Denmark Aug 3, 2008 The color is golden-orange and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, citrus, fruits like peach, a light bitterness and warming alcohol. daniele (721), Italy Aug 2, 2008 oro schiuma media discreta persistenza naso non molto ampia discreto fruttato un lieve erbaceo in bocca malto poi un buon taglio amaro BoBoChamp (618), Gent, Belgium Jul 22, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, cloudy, good head, good brew, but not a topper Optigon (546), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jul 15, 2008 Pours brown with a moderate, fine head. Smells of pinto beans, which I’m not crazy over, but it’s definitely a change of pace. Flavor is pleasantly complex with more malt and fruity notes.
