egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA May 7, 2008 Poured a dark mahogany color with a small, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of wild yeast, roasted malts, a bit of chocolate, citrus, and orange peel. Taste was chocolately, light roast, a bit of smoke, with some citrus, nuts, and a light tartness in the finish.
beastiefan2k (1063), Hicksville, New York, USA Jul 19, 2008 How do I say this name? Tap @ Gingerman. Pours black with a light tan head. Aroma is surprising, lightly tart fruit jam with licorice and some dark prunes. Thats not what it actually smells like but I can’t freaking figure out how the heck to describe it. Very new and original with earthy, fruity, tart, and dark fruit aspects. Flavor is full of dark berries and dark malts but comes off a bit astringent. Some sweet dark grape skins as well.. Got to admit, stuff is pricey but its original. pivnizub (3630), Porúří, Germany Jul 19, 2008 Bottle (Pilsen 2008): Very dark-amber coloured, small beige head; cacao, almonds and nuts in the nose; quite full sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; Chocolate and almonds, again in the fruity-malty finish. Interesting brew...... oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Jul 10, 2008 Bottled. Deep amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and fudge and that’s pretty much it. Flavour is coffee, lots of chocolate and fudge. Pleasantly balanced and bigtime chocolate beer. Doggythedog (919), Split, Croatia Jul 10, 2008 RBESG08 grand tasting Took me a sec to decypher the name.Really dark brown body with a small ochre head. Nice light chocolatey nose. Chocolate and hazelnuts in the taste, nice maltiness. I’d have it again I guess. omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 9, 2008 Bottled at RBESG. Very dark brown, beige head. From nose to finish the ghost of chocolate and wild raspberries hang over this beer. It’s sweet and medium bodied, densely malty with some cocoal bitterness. Like strawberries dipped in dark chocolate. Quite delicious actually, but I would not drink a bottle on my own.
