joss (3120), Garching b. München, Germany May 11, 2008 Bottle. Subtle flowery hop nose. Pale golden, big creamy head. Fairly elegant aromatic malt profile with a good hop balance, honeyish and flowery notes. Medium to light, but chewy and light sparkling mouthfeel. Slightly too quick finish, but quite moreish in that way. Really not bad for a no-name brew.
Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 2, 2008 Bottled. A ligth golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of straw, but also a light malty note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, leading to a dry bitter and strawy finish. The body is a bit thin.
