M0RHI (1026), Luxembourg, Luxembourg May 4, 2008 Cask at Glenrothes BF 08. Dark ruby, no head. Nose is malty, light chocolate taste, some fruit. Mouth is stock cube, malty, some chocolate, some sour maltiness. Finishes dry malty and espresso. Quite good. Mes_and_Sim (4495), Highgate, Greater London, England Oct 22, 2007 A Mes rate. Gravicask at Nottingham Beer Festival. Dark translucent chestnut brown. Chocolate malt, slight coffee, plenty of fruit and some slight tobacco. Not bad. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 29, 2007 Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Nut brown. Salty and bready. Light bodied and soft. The initial salty malt flavour just dies halfway through leaving emptiness behind it. maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 26, 2007 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Peterboro BF. The beer they refused to serve in a third pint measure (jobsworths). A mid to dark brownn coloured beer with a woody smoky aroma. The taste has little going on and the palate is quite watery. Dull. I was warned by someone who wanted to serve me a third (but was not allowed) that it wasn’t very good!!
