Medium amber color, med lightly frothy head, slightly malty aroma. A light bodied amber. Mild flavorful malts, slightly sweet are balanced by a slight hop bite. A mild flavored amber. Nice refreshing beer. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Not a bad beer, a great buy at $4 a six-pack. Purchased 10/3/02 at Grocery Outlet in SF Bay Area

Bottle. An amber to light brown color with a nice froathy head. There is an intensity to the aroma that stresses the caramel but also a cinnamon-like spice. Surprisingly full flavor with malt and caramel but also restrained and soft in body.

Ruddy amber color, good head formation and retention, slightly adjuncty (corn?) and carmel aroma, slightly creamy feel, dusty old hops.

This one poured a fiery amber color with moderate carbonation and decent lasting creamy white head which laced all the way down the glass. Aromas of malt, fruit such as grapefruit and peach danced in my nose, a nice start. The flavor hints to a malty, fruity front...sour grapes, apricot and a nice grainy feel, like chewing on a nice true wheat bread. Excellent palate feel given the creamy head. A pleasantly pleasant pleasantry if i do say so myself. Nice bittering finish given the mild usage of hops, a good balance a nice drink. Thanks goes to beerguy101 for the beer.

Wonderful brew. I found this in Minneapolis under the Grain Belt "Archive Series" beer banner. My version was brewed by Minnesota Brewing Co. and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Medium malty body with a nice balance of hops. Too bad more people didn’t sample Grain Belt’s archive series beers. They could’ve saved Minnesota Brewing if people had given these fine beers more of a chance.
