Pours with two finger white head that goes slowly leaving a good lace. Clear pale amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Wet stainless steel nose. Starts with a hoppy citrusy flavor but weak, finish is clean since there is not much here. Good lawn mower beer. LibraryBrewer (50), Goodridge, Minnesota, USA

Corn, corn, corn. ryanpederson (2), Brooklyn, New York, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2006 This is one of those "easy drinking" beers. To be very simple, it’s a great beer to enjoy when "in Rome" (i.e. the upper Midwest) and/or doing things that might distract you from noting the intracies of what you are drinking. I love it, some hate it. It has a very sweet flavor and we often argue if it has a blueberry or butter aftertaste. I think it tastes like blueberry candy personally. tennisjoel (950), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2006 First had this beer in college...River Falls (WI) days during the summer, an event for the whole town. And a good place to be, as you could normally spot many of the Kansas City Chiefs players roaming around the town (their training camp was there). However, the beer experience (Grain Belt Premium from the keg) was not as pleasurable. I remember the beer being barely drinkable. For quite a few years after, I would not touch the stuff. However, it must have been a bad batch, because now I actually enjoy this as an occasional session beer. More flavor that your average macro. It’s not bad, has a nice sweet taste to it (there is taste), so it’s decent for the pale lager category. verge (32), USA

At this point I stayed away from bud, miller, coors...and went on to bigger better things. Thanks Grand Belt with your nice sweat corny flavor. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
