Flavor starts with a surprsing run of decent malt flavor, but then quickly fades into something a little skunky. Finishes extremely clean. argo0 (6939), Washington DC, USA

Light as a Miller Light in color, taste is a traditional lager with a hint of sweet. FoolishMortal (965), San Diego, California, USA

Lightstruck skunk mixed with corn and grainyness in the aroma. Tastes like watery urine strained through a filter of used bandaides. Finish is dry and watery with a hint of rice adjunct. Mouthfeel is light and somewhat watery. theburden (12), Illinois, USA

It was yellow just like Miller Lite, which I don’t generally consider to be a good thing. It was rather tasteless over all. I guess if I grew up with this beer I might appreciate it but I would not make any effort to have this again. mta701 (5), Fargo, North Dakota, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2005 There is nothing better than playing some outdoor hockey in the freezing winter here in North Dakota, and kicking back a couple of these while warming up in a shotty wooden warming house covered in graffitti (Manvel, ND).
Good beer, good price, good game. I became of age only a few months ago but trying new and interesting kinds of beer has become a hobby of mine...I have to say, of the 20 varieties of beer I have had, Grain Belt Premium is one of my favorites. I was introduced to it by a friend on my 21st birthday. I was hesitant to try it for the simple fact that I always thought it was a "Hick" beer. After trying Corona, Budweiser and Miller etc... Grain Belt is far superior to those. Its a great not to heavy and not to light... a great medium bodied beer.
And being that I’m from Minnesota, I have to support that. Gurst (338), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Drank it almost exclusively throughout my high school days, this beer has a classic taste. Middle-range body coupled with a richness and a strong grainy taste gives this beer a character to be enjoyed any time of day, any season, although my preferred consumption would be outside in the day, maybe during a picnic or BBQ.
