This cheap beer is boat loads better than anything else that my friends like. Great out of a keg too. Aroma of starchy hops and grainy lightness with a wierd lettuce-like back. Taste is watered down hops and grain, no real stick, kinda bland. Some notes of plastic or vinyl. Not to pleasant. It use to have a boldness to it, now its seemed to vanish. Its drinkable, but not really. Just an OK version of a American style lager. "Premium" it is not.

Thin mouthfeel. Mild malt back ground with a bit of hop zing in the finish. A really plain and simple beer. There’s nothing spectacular about this brew, but it’s very drinkable. What a cheap beer should taste like. brewshthereen (316), Oregon, USA

Nice hop/malt balance. Flavorful, yet simple at the same time. Sturdy. A midwest favorite, indeed. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Pint is a pale yellow with a decent white head and lace all the way down. The aroma was sweet and grain elevator like. The flavor was sweet, as in corn sweet, and not much in the way of bitterness. The palate was fairly rich. Overall, not your standard Pale Lager, but hey, it’s cheap and local!
