Cask@The wenlock Arms. A nice roasty stout. Some sweet caramel and chocolate at the start, finishing with some nicely roasty malt notes. Very drinkable stout.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock. Clearly enjoyed this more than Ian. A little too sweet over all but most of the stuff you would want is in there. Chocolate maltyness, slight roated character and some caramel. Palate was a tad thin for what it is. Hmm not bad.

Cask condition, handpull at Wenlock Arms. Black colour with thin tan head. Not much of a stout really, some toffee, some ashtray, some dark choc, some smoke. It’s ok, but very much needs to be better.
