| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2008 Deep brown hue. Texture wasn’t thick and rich but it had a bit of body along with a mild carbonation. Malts were enjoyable. Quite a bit of roast, plus coffee, dark chocolate, tar and charcoal. Some bitterness surfaced in the finish, balancing things out pretty well. Didn’t blow me away, but it was enjoyable. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
