Light malts and corn aroma. Had a surprisingly refreshing sweet and bitter flavor with a nice dry finish. Completely different than I was expecting from a "pale lager". | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Had this at a crappy steakhouse outside of the Grand Canyon, and thought throughout that this tasted more like the Oak Creek Amber than a lager, so I guess it’s good in that way. And perhaps the best thing of the dinner. Still, not impressed, very malty and thin at the same time. jason (1623), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 23, 2007 Bottle. Thanks to BokeyHorsey. Poured an amber body with thin head. Aroma is grainy with a similarity to cereal - frosted mini wheats?. Flavor is bitter and dry with a sweet malty feel. Light mouthfeel with a fruity feeling that I couldn’t recognize. unclemattie (2430), Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Bottle: Orangish straw, moderate foamy white head, spotty lacing, mild carbonation.   Spicy nose, almost like a cross between spearmint and pumpkin.   Spritzy start, malty, light sweetness, some pale fruit skin.   Very unique this one is.   A bit tart, mild sourness, somewhat bizarre.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Seems a bit sticky.   Lingering tart fruit skin, slight powdered sugar like sweetness.   Different, but not bad.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Bottle thanks to bockyhorsey. Pours an amber color, high carbonation, decent head and lacing. The aroma was caramel, nuts, and corn-rice-like adjuncts. The flavor was sweet caramel and corn, light bitterness of some toasted nuts and other malts (it wasn’t a hop bitterness). The finish was full in mouthfeel for the style anyway, grainy aspects. Not a bad pale lager, but then again.... it’s clearly still a pale lager. Thanks for the opportunity on this one again, Bill! zathrus13 (1308), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Pours gold/amber, with a huge, off-white head. Aroma is malt, with some fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, fruit, and hops. Body seems a bit heavy for the style. Not bad at all, just nothing to make it special. Thanks to Bockyhorsey for this bottle.
