12 oz. bottle Courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a clear reddish amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is light esters. Flavor is light caramel malt, esters, and a touch of diacetyl. Has a slight dry finish. Medium body. A good easy drinking beer. Thanks Bill.

This bottle was indeed a gusher. Unfortunatly it detracted from the palate, but overall it didn’t have an adverse affect on this pretty decent pale lager. I imagine if this was available in my area I’d keep some around the house. There wasn’t much on the nose, but I didn’t expect a whole lot. The gushign quality of this left a thick bubbly and short lasting head. Sweet malts with a bit of a fruity yeast note. There’s not much of a hops flavour but there is a balancing bitternes at the end. This is quite drinkable and pretty good as a daily drinker.

Pours with a brilliantly clear, full amber color that is topped by a frothy, slightly creamy, pale tan colored head. The aroma is scented with lightly spicy hop notes, sweet caramel malt notes and a touch of toasted grain character. The taste is sweet and fruity up front, with notes of apple, and berry being prominent. A touch of caramelized grain rounds out the flavor with just a wisp of hop character. Seems to be a touch spicy, a touch herbal and only a light bitterness in the finish. This has a bit of a creamy body to it that certainly keeps it from being light and watery. This is no where near the drain pour that I was expecting, it is certainly not a big or expressive beer, but the combination of lightly sweet malt, fruity notes and light hop character make for an easing drinking and quaffable brew and even the body of this brew has a bit of extra character to it.

Thanks to secret santa (Bockyhorsey). Pours out a darker amber color, appearance reminds me of yuengling. Sweet malts on the nose with a small head. Flavor is very nice for this style of beer, sweet malty backbone with some notes of brown sugar. An enjoyable beer for this style, very drinkable, hell if I lived in Arizona I’d probably drink it all the time.

Bottle from Bockyhorsey. Pours murky orange with white diminishing head. Aroma of bread, honey, and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet, malty, with not much hoppiness. Texture is a little thin, and lightly carbonated. Light, smooth caramel finish, with a hint of citrus.Reminds me of drinking an english bitter (without the hard water earthiness and ale yeast). Not that bad overall. The label gives the impression that this would suck, which it doesn’t.

Courtesy of Bockyhorsey. <P> Sweet malty aroma with minor bread pudding with raisins asspects. Cloudy dark amber in color with a lazy white head. Molassess, brown sugar, bread, honey and very lightly toasted malts. This isn’t a pale lager. Way too dark first of all. Light bronze is the "dark end" for a pale and this is rich red amber. Plus it has almost no pale lager flavor notes except the sweet malt and this is MUCH sweeter. Almost tastes like a low-alcohol watery Gouden Carolus. Was a very nice suprise. I put this off till last thinking it would be a cheap lager and it is pretty damn good.

Malty spice aroma. Drak copper color with off white head that was gone quick. Little hop bite at first but lost some luster just a bit at the end. Was cool and crisp on the palate. Left little malty aftertaste. Decent Beer.
