| A German Hefeweizen brewed by Grand Canyon Brewing Company Williams, Arizona USA
| |
Aubrey (2592), Denver, Colorado, USA May 31, 2008 Pale yellow-gold with a slight haze. Light body; mildish carbonation. Malts were light, with notes of wheat germ, light grains and sweet cereal. Hops were spicy, offering a balanced bitterness. Bitterness built a bit more in the finish. To me, I thought it tasted more like a typical "American Wheat" than a German hefeweizen (it seemed to lack yeast/ester notes), but it was still a decent light wheat beer, nonetheless.
