aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA Jan 9, 2009 Draft at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Pours a pale yellow with a 1/2 inch frothy head. Aromas are pretty plain, some light sweet malts, some hops if you try real hard. Flavors are semi sweet malts and a light hop bitterness. Palate is crisp and clean. desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Jul 2, 2008 Tap at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Light straw gold body with a small white head. Little aroma to speak of. Flavor is light with a bit of grassy hops and a touch of sweetness. Seems to be the obligatory ’light’ beer in the lineup. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 19, 2006 Tap at brewpub. Pours effervescent yellow. Lemony pilsner aroma. Flavor is flat malt with grass. Average mouthfeel. Light beer. A nice malty light with hops brew. Light golden color with a light head. This was a easy brew that most would love.
Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA Mar 16, 2005 Sampled on draught @ The Grand Lake Brewing Company in Grand Lake, CO. Clear pale in color. Light sweet malt and spicy hops in the nose, but not much to be spoken of overall. Not much in the flavor except spicy saaz hops and grainy pils malt, so it’s pretty bland overall, but it does have some interesting light fruit and vanilla flavors. Pretty damn good for what it is trying to be.
