Commercial Description:
Our One Ton Pale Ale is brewed with a "ton" of American hops. THe head bull in the herd that recycles our brewers grain, Hoppy really does weight a ton. Bright amber crisp and double dry hopped, this beer might be Colorado’s Best Pale Ale and "That is No Bull."

12oz bottle from Lukas Liquor. Pours clear golden orange with white head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus, light fruit and sugar. Flavor is orange and other citrus flavor, sweet malt and some hops. Doesn’t really look like an APA and is a little sweet for my tastes. However it does lean toward the hoppy side of the style which is always a plus for me. Nobody likes a malty pale ale with no hops.

Bottle. Color is a light gold. Carbonation is light with a very thin head. Aroma is very hoppy with hay like scents. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is a grassy hay like taste with a faint citrus and mild bitterness. In the after taste the hay taste goes more bitter with a medicine taste coming out. I don’t like it, the hops are not good in this and there overpowering.

12oz bottle 8/11/09 (Davidsons Liquor-Littleton)-Pours a clear golden with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and fruity. Taste of hops, malt, and slight citrus. This light bodied brew is really lacking in taste.

Golden amber in color, not much head, and a super fruity smell that is better than average. The flavor is more fruit, this is definitely hoppy but not up to IPA levels and kind of reminds me of Dale’s Pale Ale. Easy to drink and the $7 price tag on the sixer doesn’t hurt either. On tap poured a clear copper with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of pine, orange zest, carmel and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of carmel, pine, orange zest and a hint of earthiness with a smooth dry bitter finish.
