RSRIZZO (1332), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Aug 11, 2009 Bottle labeled as Rebel Pale Ale. Color is a dark gold with very light carbonation and a thin ring of a head. Aroma of caramel with a hint of hops. Taste is malty. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down crisp. Finish is sweet with a malty caramel taste. After taste is slightly dry with a very faint bitterness showing. It comes across like a one dimensional Brown Ale. Average mouthfeel. Bizarre flavor. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Oct 6, 2006 [Colorado Road Trip – 2006]
A great EPA with a high flavor of hops added this was a wonderful brew. I really liked the flavor of this and the hops where awesome.
Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA Mar 16, 2005 Sampled on draught @ The Grand Lake Brewing Company in Grand Lake, CO. Attractive orange in color. A floral, medicinal, herbaceous Fuggle hop aroma with a touch of biscuit and toffee. The aromatic notes continue on upon tasting with English hops mainly and a meek malt profile. Pretty dull.
