Bottle labeled as Rebel Pale Ale. Color is a dark gold with very light carbonation and a thin ring of a head. Aroma of caramel with a hint of hops. Taste is malty. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down crisp. Finish is sweet with a malty caramel taste. After taste is slightly dry with a very faint bitterness showing. It comes across like a one dimensional Brown Ale.

12oz bottle Bottled as Rebel Pale Ale 8/11/09 (Davidsons Liquor-Litleton)-Pours a dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and sweetness. Taste of hops, malt, doughy and finishes with some dryness. This light bodied brew is not a favorite style of mine.

Draft at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Pours a light golden amber with a small white head. Aromas of sweet malts, soap, and some earth. Flavors are sweet malt up front with a nice balance of hops in the finish. Palate is smooth and nicely carbonated.

Tap at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Somewhat deep amber with little head. Aroma is doughy and hoppy. Flavor has a good dose of hops and a rich palate. This is a nice pale ale; very drinkable and tasty.

Tap at brewery. Pours light amber with nice lacing. Aroma is carrots and hops; very earthy. Flavor is a vegetable medeley with a grassy hops finish. Average mouthfeel. Bizarre flavor.

Sampled on draught @ The Grand Lake Brewing Company in Grand Lake, CO. Attractive orange in color. A floral, medicinal, herbaceous Fuggle hop aroma with a touch of biscuit and toffee. The aromatic notes continue on upon tasting with English hops mainly and a meek malt profile. Pretty dull.
