Sep 23, 2009 12oz bottle 9/23/09 (Davidsons Liquor)-Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and slight vanilla. Taste of the same with a bit more chocolate coming through. A bit light bodied for a stout. Has potential but just missing something.

Jun 4, 2009 On tap poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, coffee, vanilla and roasted malt. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bitter chocolate, carmel, coffee, roasted malt and light vanilla with a smooth lingering roasty finish.

Jan 9, 2009 Nitro tap at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Pours dark brown with a thick creamy tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and some roasted malts. Flavors of sweet chocolate and coffee. Palate is a bit watery.
