Wet celery and flabby, stale cigarette ashes greet the nose, while a nearly-rancid, heavily oxidized ashtray and sweet, green vegetable hops barely hint as IPA level bitterness. Bad bottle or bad beer?

Bomber. Poured clear coppery orange with a short cap of off-white head.. nice color to it. The aroma picked up juicy floral and citrusy notes with a sweet, rich caramel backing.. resiney. The flavor opened with tangy orange zest and brighter floral notes with sweet toffee and caramel rolling in.. bitterness stayed at least moderate throughout with a nice citrus bend to it.. finished long and resiny, picking up a little pineapple.. tasty! Medium-plus bodied and kinda syrupy on the palate with a nice slow flow to it.. great brew!

Tap at Grand Lake. Color is golden. Lots of citrus hops on the nose, same in flavor, with some maltyness as well. It has a nice dry citrusy finish. Very good.

Tap at the brewpub in Grand Lake. Medium gold body, small off-white head. Aroma is super hoppy, citrusy and sweet. Rich hoppy flavor dominates with some nice toasty malts in the background. Finishe dry and biting. Nice IPA.

Bottled, thanks Crosling! Clear amber, small creamy head. Grapefruity hop aroma. Medium bodied with solid caramelly malt. Lightly citric with lots if toffee Significant bitter finish. More caramel and less hop aromas thn what is common in American IPAs.

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear deep amber body with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of light citrus, toasted bread, caramel, some apricot, and herbs. Flavor of hops (light spruce, herbal), light toasted malt, and caramel with a watery, thin mouthfeel.

Kind of boring IPA. Ample head, disapates quick. Color of Bourbon. Citrus, pine, simple nose. Lean and hoppy. Not much complexity. Too lite, and the flavor peters off pretty quick. OK.
