22oz bomber. Pours a clear copper with a small head and minimal lacing. Nose is subtle, consisting of wheat and citrus. Taste is of malt and caramel and is a bit on the sweet side. Mouthfeel is nice but could use more body and more carbonation. Finish reiterates the sweetness, but is mitigated by the hop bitterness. After a while it does devolve to a slight metallic taste.

Had this beer on 6/27/2006. Aroma is full of fresh hop scents and a light sweet malt scent. Color is deep golden brown with light carbonation and head. Taste is very hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down smooth with an almost sweet feel. Finish comes out with a malty sweetness that is a bit like caramel and then a full fresh hop taste that ends with a nice yet mild bitterness. I must note that the carbonation is a bit too low and I think that it would be even better if the carbonation was higher.

Bomber from brewery, poured cloudy, medium amber with moderate light tan head that thins quickly. Aroma and flavor hits you with grapefruit, hops, pine and other citrus. More of a citrusy than hops bitter bite; overall a very flavorful IPA.

Tap at brewery. Pours weak amber... too clear. Aroma is hops, hops, and more hops. Flavor is non-offensive; hops bite without the attitude. Nice mouthfeel, but could be thicker. Great, approachable IPA.

Bomber poured a clear copper with a small short lived amber head. Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, orange, a hint of pine and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and slightly resiny. Flavors of orange, apricot, a hint of grapefruit, some light pine and a hint of carmel with a smoothbitter finish. A very tasty IPA of the balanced variety!

22oz bottle acquired in trade with snowtiger (thanks!). Poured a dark and cloudy amber color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of pineapple, spices and some caramel. Tastes of caramel, apricots, oranges and citrus. Nicely balanced - not your overboard bitter finish. Nice lacing left on the glass. Enjoyable.

Well made C hopped IPA, this is one I would drink as a local, because it is well made, but not different enough from many other IPA’s for me to seek it out. Like the captain said copper to orange in color, lightly laced. Aroma is mostly pine, citrus, caramelly sweet malts. Bitterness is low. Sweet finish. Thanks Crosling!

Pours a clear deep copper with a lightly-lacing bone-colored head. Rich, toasty, caramel malty aroma has some earthy English hop notes and a touch of pine. Body starts with nice, full sugary caramel maltiness and a decent, although muddled, green hoppiness. A pretty good IPA.
