| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Had this beer on 6/22/2006. Aroma is rich with a sweet roasted malt scent and fresh hops. Color is a light brown with light carbonation and thin tight head. Taste is full of flavor from malty richness to a fresh happiness. Starting with medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish burst out at you with a roasted malt flavor followed by fresh hops and a nice bitterness. It seems a bit hoppy for an Amber, but I love this beer. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Draught, Falling Rock. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted/roasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with a light note of smoke. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Decent enough, the light smoky note helps the aroma (which suffers from a lot of raw yeastiness). Good enough balance as well. Nothing great, but ok. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA

A deep amber color with a nice head. Rich in malt I really liked the awesome flavors this beer had. The hops where subtle and the flavors and spices where great. Good Beer…
