Commercial Description:
Our English brown ale. A mild bodied beer that is dark in color, while at the same time full of flavor. A wonderfully drinkable beer, with slight toffee, nutty and caramel flavors. Let the honey like malt flavor lure you in.

Bottle poured a clear dark mahogany with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of chocolate, carmel, nuts and toasted malt. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, nuts, toasted malt, light carmel and a hint of vanilla with a smooth lingering bittersweet finish.

Bottle: Deep and dark brown with a creamy head. Full, chewy texture (sounds like it’s drastically improved from the tap version). Rather tasty malt flavors had a lot of wholesome, earthy flavors. Chocolate, nuts, caramel and milky sweetness. A mild, grassy bitterness follows through. Finish is nice, and it begs you to take another sip. Pretty good brown.

Pretty nutty aroma. Bown color. This is nutty, a little soapy, a little creamy. Some sweetness and a lot of nut flavor in the finish. Decent.

Tap at brewpub. Pours deep red-brown. Aroma reminds me of a backcountry trail. Weird. Tastes of biting caramel with a slight sour licorice. Average mouthfeel. Points for using "booger" in the name.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A dark brown color nut brown ale. This was a very light tasting beer. Too watery as for the style this should have been thicker and stronger tasting. I missed the flavor contrasts and such with this nut brown. Hopefully it was just a bad pour and the rest is better.

Sampled on draught @ The Grand Lake Brewing Company in Grand Lake, CO. Deep tawny color. Fairly complex aroma with hints of honey covered fruits, toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Sweet malt body with extract attributes and notes of coffee, spoiled fruit and toffee. A bit sweet and lacking body.

12oz bottle at RSRIZZO’s tasting 8/9/09-Pours a dark brown with no head. Aroma of roasted malt. Flavor was very bland with nothing really coming across. This was very light bodied for a brown ale and was not very good.

12oz bottle from aplusbreaks. Dark brown pour with a small white head, not alot of carbonation. Smells bready, some sweet, dark malts as well. Very easy to drink, more dark, sweet malts. Not bad.
