Aroma is fine noble hops, quality malt, light yellow/golden, small tight white head. Great taste of malt, hops. Light bodied, clean, crisp , very well balanced, pleasant bitterness. Great! Oakes (8152), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Bright golden. Herbal aroma with light diacetyl. More of the same on the palate, the hop bite remaining somewhat modest. Sweet and biscuitty malts. Fairly dry finish, again with diacetyl. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Draught @ Cest What. Clear bright golen with off-white small head. Strong movie popcorn aroma is so amazing it’s as if it were purposeful. Butter, salt. The first time I’ve ever understood why people describe diacetyl using the popcorn analogy. But it’s not offensive here, it works! Enjoying the education. kmweaver (2498), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 17, 2008 500 mL bottle, bottled on September 09, 2008. Pours a clear, bright honey-golden color with an orange tinge; solid white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Creamy fruits, mineral bitterness, and just a touch of vanilla in the aroma; clean, crisp nose. Medium mouthfeel: dense honeyed malts (without being overly prominent), vibrant mineral bitterness, and plenty of soft, toasty malts; intensely drinkable, balanced, crisp rendition; similarities (esp. the fruitiness) to a helles; in any event, a tasty, nicely bitter lager. Medium finish: toasty malts, crisp minerally hops, and nicely dry to the core; minerals at the far end. Tessic (480), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 4, 2008 This Pils poured a clear light yellow colour with a big bright white head. To the nose there is scents of corn, yeast and grain. First taste was smooth and filled with corn flavour. The finish was slightly hoppy and a little sweet. Kind of generic but pretty good.
